Flower Power Part II: Fresh Centerpiece Inspiration

Here's part II of my flower meanderings for this week.  I love each one of these ideas for different reasons.  Each style is a stand-alone favorite.

The beautiful complement of colors in this tablescape caught my eye immediately. And, when I looked more closely, I decided that the centerpiece is quite lovely.  My favorite touch is the glass jar wrapped in the natural twine.  It highlights the delicate blush of the flowers and connects the green stems with the celery green of the candles and the glass plate.  So elegant!

I love this yellow and blue combo!  The yellow sunflowers and roses are gorgeous in the blue bags.  Such a simple and inexpensive container!  I also love the lemons used as placecards.

And this little number takes the prize for Beauty on a Budget!  I'm enchanted with the round arrangements that can be displayed on cakestands or platters.  But the best part is that this is made from carnations, one of the most inexpensive flowers out there.  It's a great DIY project and you can see the directions at countryliving.com.

As a crafty-girl, my first thought was how long would it take to glue all those strings of beads onto the vase?  Then I discovered that it's simply stretch bracelets slipped onto a small clear jar.  Genius!  Group a collection of these small beauties together for a centerpiece that can also serve as a favor.

Wow!  A great twist and creative use for a cake stand.  I love the contrast of the green and blue glass with the red blooms.
