Swizzle Events - Same great company, New Updated Brand

Did you notice?  Our name is a little different. And, our website is brand new!  Since we began this blog, our little company has continued to grow and grow and grow.  We have had the pleasure of planning all sorts of events.  What began as a little birthday party business is now a full-fledged event planning company.  We thought our name should better reflect our new "grown-up" image.  So, drumroll please . . . . introducing Swizzle Events.  We loved the sassy logo so much that we just couldn't give it up completely.  So, we tweaked and polished and updated to make it even better.  If you have a few minutes, click on over to our new site and check out the wedding gallery.  Hope to see you there!

Swizzle Parties & the Franklin Bridal Ball

Hello Friends!  It's Monday and things are frenzied at Swizzle Parties!  We are busier than a diva with too many shoes.  What's going on, you say?  Well, for starters, Swizzle is under going a brand makeover.  Nothing too drastic, just a touch-up to better reflect our growing company.  And of course that means new website, new logo, slightly new name, new everything!  We are going to reveal the changes on Thursday at the Franklin Bridal Ball, so stay tuned.

Bridal Party Gifts: Fabulous Scarves Make the Perfect Gift

Gift giving.  It's one of my favorite things to do.  Regardless of the gifting occasion, I always try to find the perfect gift. (Note I said perfect not necessarily most expensive.)  What is a perfect gift?  It depends on the recipient, but generally I want to give a token that will be appreciated, not forgotten in a week's time, and that will bring a smile of pleasure and surprise.  Oh, and most importantly, I want it to be original and not a copycat gift.

So, my gift giving goals are often challenged when it comes to finding Bridal Party gifts.  I mean how many jewelry sets, scented body lotions, and pairs of flip flops can a girl really use?  These are all good standards, but wouldn't it be great to find something new and fresh?  I thought so. 

Well, today I give you my gifting idea for fall and winter.  The scarf.  Yes, the scarf.  I know it seems obvious, but think about it.  Who doesn't love a great scarf?  They are uber trendy right now, come in all colors and styles and are the perfect accessory as we head into the cooler days ahead.
